I’m a sculptor. Seeking a tactile escape from my day job, I started taking carving classes in 2022, initially exploring my passion for vulnerable marine ecosystems. I quickly found that sculpting provided a vital way to regulate my sensory experience and channel my vivid imagination. As a nonbinary autistic artist, my work has since grown into a deeply personal expression of my lived experience. Through the medium of wood, I create a shared spatial language to build solidarity among autistic people and invite allistic audiences into our world.

By day, I am a senior interaction designer at Google. Here, my focus is on designing intuitive AI experiences that empower developers to make sense of highly complex data, rendering it more actionable and accessible. My academic foundation for tackling these kinds of systemic challenges was built studying interface design at FH Potsdam and as a scholar with the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes (German Academic Scholarship Foundation). My drive to champion justice also extends beyond my design work, as I serve as an employee representative on the UK and European Works Councils.
