Washare was created in a group of six people during the “Service Design Weekend” organised by the Berlin based service design agency IXDS.

Within one weekend, we developed a whole service design solution including all steps that are necessary in the design process.  The idea behind Washare is to create a win-win-situation for all parties involved in sharing private washing mashines.

Although there’s no money involved in the actual sharing process, Washare creates a viable benefit for both users and manufacturers of washing machines with a bonus system.
